Safety is, and always has been, one of the driving forces behind Volvo: and the new Volvo VNR lives and breathes it. The Volvo VNR’s safety systems are powered by the proprietary Volvo Active Safety platform and equipped with advanced driver protection systems. Safety features include Volvo Active Driver Assist and pedestrian detection, blind spot detection, the E-call alert service – and way more besides.
The Volvo VNR’s powertrain begins with the D13 engine and the I-Shift automated manual transmission. Four horsepower ratings provide between 405 and 455 hp for you to use and the classic D13 engine – with 12 or 13-speed I-Shift transmission – delivers a winning blend of performance and efficiency.
